Scope of Work
Orbis has been providing in house EHS management support and environmental regulatory and permitting support to Tullow Petroleum Mauritania Pty Ltd. (TPMPL) and Tullow Chinguetti Production Pty Ltd. (TCPPL), part of Tullow Oil Plc, for the Banda and Tiof Wells Plug and Abandon (P&A) Campaign located offshore Mauritania. 

Orbis’ scope of work for this project includes:

• Overseeing the ESIA process covering the P&A activities and obtaining the necessary environmental permits
• Developing and implementing the Project EHS Plan
• Developing and implementing the Safety Management System Interface Documents between Tullow Oil and their subcontractors
• Monitoring the implementation of the regulatory compliance activities
• Developing, implementing and testing the project emergency response arrangements
• Undertaking the EHS assurance activities required as part of the tendering processes and monitoring the EHS performances of contractors once contracted
• Carrying out EHS assurance audits and waste management audits
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of the Project Waste Management Plan
• Developing the Project Oil Spill Contingency Plan
• Providing HSE engagement sessions to the contracted personnel
