Scope of Work
Orbis was commissioned by Witt O’Brien to model a number of oil spills scenarios offshore Lebanon using OILMAP. The scenarios ranged from an instantaneous spill originating from a shipping incident to an unconstrained flow of condensate arising from a blowout.

Orbis provided the following deliverables to Witt O’Brien’s:

• Shapefiles (in raster format) for surface oiling, sub‐surface oiling and shoreline oiling
• SRS file listing the parameters used in the model
• SH2 file detailing the simulation runs which resulted in shoreline oiling
• MSB file providing fates analysis data (surface, atmosphere, water concentration, sediment, ashore and decay)
