As the EU Offshore Safety Directive contains requirements relating to licensing, safety and environmental protection and emergency response, OPRED and the Health & Safety Executive will work in partnership as the Offshore Safety Directive Regulator (OSDR) to lead the transposition of Directive into the UK law.

The Orbis team has extensive experience in the field of process safety and risk management over the full investment life cycle. They have been involved in writing a MAPP for an operator, concept ALARP reviews, risk assessments (including HAZID’s, ENVID’s and HAZOP’s) for design, construction, production and decommissioning operations, managing safety case developments and in preparing Combined Operations Notifications, Major Accident Prevention Documents (MAPD’s) and emergency response plans.
