Offshore Licensing Rounds

The Offshore Petroleum Licensing (Offshore Safety Directive) Regulations 2015 requires prospective licensees to submit safety and environmental capability (Appendix C) submissions to support their applications, to include an Environmental Sensitivity Assessment.

Onshore Licensing Rounds

For onshore rounds, prospective licensees are required to submit a detailed Statement of Environmental Awareness to show their understanding of the environmental sensitivities relevant to the licence area which is being applied for.
