Orbis has supported numerous Operators with decommissioning activities on the UKCS. Services include assisting with the HSE aspects of Decommissioning Programmes, conducting Environmental Appraisals and coordinating and participating in Comparative Assessments.

We are familiar with the latest BEIS Guidance Notes on Decommissioning Offshore Oil & Gas Installations and Pipelines and the OGUK Guidelines for Comparative Assessments in Decommissioning Programmes.

In addition to the above, Orbis has compiled numerous decommissioning permit applications on the UK Portal Environmental Tracking System (PETS) in support of Plug & Abandonment activities, topside and pipeline flushing operations and removal of topside and subsea infrastructure.
