Scope of Work
Orbis provided environmental regulatory and permitting support to Perenco UK Limited for the Pickerill A and Pickerill B platforms decommissioning project in UKCS Block 48/11 in the southern North Sea. The regulatory support included a three month secondment placement to provide cover as the Decommissioning Environmental Adviser in the lead up and during the Pickerill A well plug & abandonment campaign and the Pickerill pipeline flushing and cutting operations.

Orbis’ scope of work for this project included:

• PETS applications for well intervention and pipeline operations;
• Point of contact to OPRED and Statutory Consultees (e.g. Cefas) for offshore permit submissions;
• Offshore chemical and oil discharge tracking for EEMS;
• Communication and Interface Plan (CIP) OPEP;
